First of all I have reached my goal for the American Cancer Society and have gone beyond! I am so thankful to all of you that helped me to raise money for such a great cause. I have a little less than two weeks and I will participate in my first ever half marathon. I am in no way prepared but I will have fun and will finish. Last I will be proud of myself; I have done something to help so many people.
Yesterday I started my last semester at Lonestar College. That is a great feeling, this fall I will be a full time student at The University of Houston. Wow I never pictured myself going to a four year university. The time is going so fast and I really do appreciate the education now, much more than I would have at 18.
Recently I have decided to delete my FB page, at first I had major withdraw, seriously with nail biting and shakes. Unfortunately Dimples grandfather passed away two days later (completely unrelated to my deleted FB), and this gave me such whirlwind of a schedule that I no longer had time to complain that I was bored and there was nothing to do, such as read my "friends" updates. I now had to pack 4 people (punk#1 is with her Dad) for a last minute flight to Memphis for 4 days. Which means a ton of clothes, toys, activities for the airplane, etc. Not to mention punk #2 turned 6 the same day that we left Houston. This was the first time for both the littles to ride on an airplane, so a VERY big deal. I have to say the attendants for Southwest were very accommodating, they even announced the birthday girl's name and age, Dimples got to hold her up so everyone could see. This totally made her day.
The hubs is home, fill you in more later.

Just wanted to say hi! Saw your blog posted on "People I want to Punch in the Throat". Great blog! I have two girls, so I know about the drama. :) My poor son asks daily for a brother, but it isn't going to happen!!
Congratulations on your American Cancer goal. I have a very close friend who has cancer for the 2nd time and we are so grateful for people who raise money for cancer!

So brave of you to unplug from the matrix that is FB. I hope the experiment works. Like a sheep I unplugged once but was drawn back. Good luck.
